What is Eryn?
Eryn is a modern luxury home fragrance brand rooted in intentional living and refined self-care rituals. We create clean-burning candles designed to elevate everyday moments, from slow mornings to evening wind-downs, all through considered formulation and beautifully balanced scents.
Every Eryn candle is crafted to feel calm, elevated, and quietly luxurious, never overpowering, never simplistic.

What makes Eryn candles different?
Many clean candle brands rely solely on essential oils. While often perceived as the only “clean” option, essential oils can be limiting in both scent complexity and performance.
At Eryn, we take a more considered approach. We collaborate with experienced fragrance creators in England to develop professionally formulated, IFRA-compliant fragrance oils, carefully screened to exclude known harmful ingredients and designed to perform beautifully in a candle.
This allows us to create scents that feel layered, refined, and sophisticated, more like fine fragrance for the home than traditional aromatherapy.
What does “wellness rituals” mean at Eryn?
To us, wellness rituals are the quiet moments that bring intention into everyday life, lighting a candle before the day begins, resetting your space in the evening, or creating a sense of calm at home.
Eryn candles are designed to support those moments, without noise, excess, or overstatement.
OUR PRODUCTS
Why don’t you use essential oils only?
Essential oils are not always gentler, and many naturally contain allergens or regulatory hazard classifications when used in candles.
By working with professional perfumers, we’re able to design fragrance compositions that are:
- Balanced and nuanced.
- Carefully formulated for clean-burning performance.
- Developed to meet strict safety and compliance standards.
This approach gives us greater control over both scent quality and consistency, without compromising on intention or care.
Are Eryn candles clean-burning?
Yes. Our candles are designed with clean-burning performance in mind.
We use a bespoke coconut and soy wax blend paired with cotton wicks to support a steady, even flame and soft scent diffusion. Our fragrances are developed specifically for candle use, helping ensure a refined burn experience when used as directed.
Clean-burning isn’t a single ingredient, it’s a process.
Where are your candles made?
Eryn candles are hand-poured in England by skilled makers.
We work closely with our partners to ensure every candle meets our standards for craftsmanship, formulation, and finish.
Is your packaging recyclable?
We use packaging made with recycled materials and water-based inks wherever possible. Our vessels and packaging are designed to be recyclable, because mindful living should extend beyond the candle itself.
Does Eryn products contain paraffin?
Never! None of our products contain paraffin. In fact it's one of the ingredients we actively avoid. You can read more about what ingredients we avoid and why here.
How should I care for my candle?
To get the most from your Eryn candle:
- Allow the wax to melt evenly on the first burn
- Trim the wick before each use
- Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours at a time
These small rituals help preserve both scent and burn quality.
Do your candles contain parabens, phthalates, or SLS?
Our candles are formulated without parabens, phthalates and SLS.
Some fragrance components may naturally contain substances that are classified within regulatory frameworks at trace levels, a reality shared by both essential oils and fragrance oils. All Eryn fragrances are developed to comply with industry safety standards and performance guidelines.
Are Eryn products cruelty free and vegan?
Yes, and yes!
What kind of wax do you use?
We use a bespoke blend of coconut and soy wax, chosen for its smooth appearance, clean-burning qualities, and ability to carry fragrance softly and evenly through your space.
What is the wick in Eryn candles made of?
Our wick is made of 100% cotton.
Does the wick in Eryn candles contain any lead?
Absolutely not! We would never use a wick that has any lead or traces of lead in it.
Do you only make candles?
At the moment we're just creating candles but we're planning to add more products with the same ethos in the near future so stay tuned! If you wish to receive instant updates about new product launches sign up to our emails to be the first to know.
My candle has air bubbles inside the glass
Our candles have a clean burn due to their natural components. If you notice any air bubbles at the side of the glass, these are a completely natural feature – known as wet spots. They're common in hand poured candles and are caused by the shrinkage as the wax cools inside the glass. Some of the wax pulls away from the glass and some sticks to it. This in no way affects the burning experience – your candle will still smell amazing and burn beautifully!
My candle looks like it's "sweating"
We thought you might wonder about this. This phenomenon is called pooling and happens when a bit of fragrance oil leaks out of the wax, often due to drastic changes in temperature. This is completely normal and is due to our candles being made with a natural soy and coconut wax which makes them sensitive to changes in temperature. It often happens when a candle goes from being outside in the cold and into the warmth of our homes. However, this will settle as soon as the candle adjusts to the temperature of your home and usually doesn't reappear once the candle has been burnt for the first time.
How do I know which scent I will like / do you offer samples?
We know it can be tricky to decide on a scent when shopping online. To support we've created a candle finder tool which we hope will be helpful.

PAYMENTS AND SHIPPING
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major payment types including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Do you accept gift cards?
Unfortunately at this present moment we do not accept gift cards.
Where do you ship to?
We currently only ship to addresses in the UK but are in the process of adding more markets, stay tuned for updates by signing up to our emails and follow us on Instagram.
Can I cancel or edit my order?
Unfortunately we cannot amend an order once it's been placed. However, if you've made a mistake you can cancel an order and place a new one before it ships, usually within 48 hours. Please keep in mind that we can't cancel an order once it's left our warehouse. Therefore we urge you to let us know as soon as possible after placing your order by emailing us on info@erynfragrances.com.
This also applies to changes to the delivery address. If you discover you've made a mistake when placing your order please email us immediately within 24 hours. Once your order has been processed and shipped we can't make changes to the delivery address. Please note we cannot be held responsible for orders that go missing due to the wrong shipping address being entered. Please review our Shipping policy for more information and before placing an order.
How can I check the status of my order?
Once your order has been received you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and the link to check your parcel’s status. If you don’t receive your confirmation email within a couple of hours of placing your order, please let us know via email: info@erynfragrances.com
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
What is your returns policy?
We do hope you’re happy with your order but in the case you change your mind, you're able to issue a return within 14 days of receiving your item(s). Please refer to our Returns & Refunds policy to find out more about the process. On this page you'll also find more information about what to do in the rare event that your item(s) arrive faulty or damaged.
My product arrived damaged or faulty what do I do?
We're so sorry to hear this, and would like to apologise for the inconvenience. Please review our Returns & Refunds policy for more information on how we handle damaged or faulty items.
Do you offer exchanges?
Unfortunately we can't exchange products but you're able to return an item as per our Return policy and place a new order of a different product if you wish. If you need any help please email: info@erynfragrances.co.uk.
