OUR STORY

We're a modern home fragrance brand creating consciously scented low-tox candles and home scents. Our wax is 100% natural, made from a creamy coconut and soy blend, combined with natural cotton wicks for a cleaner burn.

At the same time, our fragrances are free from common harmful ingredients and toxins. Instead, we work with one of the best fragrance creators in England, making sure all of our candles are made with the finest fragrance oils, essential oils and natural oil blends.

Creating quality scented candles takes a lot of time and a huge amount of knowledge. Our candles are made in England and each individual candle is hand poured by expert candle makers. To us candle making is an art and home fragrance is an expression not only of who we are but of our mood and the current season.

    THE WICK

    All ERYN candle wicks are made from 100% cotton and are always completely lead-free.

    THE WAX

    Our wax is a bespoke coconut and soy wax blend, always without paraffin and dyes.

    Our fragrance oils are free from Parabens, Phthalates, SLS, and synthetic CMRs to name a few.

Sustainable packaging

Our packaging is made of 85% recycled material and 15% FSC certified paper mixed with water-based ink. It's also fully recyclable. If you wish to dispose of your candle box simply follow your local guidelines and recycle where appropriate. We think it would be such a shame for our packaging to become landfill when it has potential to become so much more.

Our ambition in only using the finest ingredients have us collaborating only with the utmost experienced in fine fragrance creation.

Perfume craftsmanship since the 18th century

Our fragrance creator was established in France in the mid 1700s and their UK division is one of the best at creating scents with a tricky brief like ours: Beautifully smelling but made only with consciously selected ingredients and with a long list of ingredients we avoid, The ERYN Ethos.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

The idea for ERYN was born over 4 years ago following some issues with hormonal acne. At the time, I did a lot of research on the root cause of my problems and found certain ingredients in scented products could be the culprit. Sadly a lot of those ingredients could be found in one of my guilty pleasures: Scented candles!

As an avid fan of home fragrance I started looking for alternatives and found they were difficult to come by. They either didn't smell complex enough or contained ingredients I wanted to avoid such as SLS, Phthalates and Parabens.

That's when I decided to create my own: A consciously scented candle that still had the complexity of a luxury perfume. It's taken over 3.5 years of trial and error to create the perfect candles but they're finally here and I hope you'll love them all just as much as I do.
